Terms of Service

What you get
Orbit is a browser extension for managing your own tasks. The free tier is free to use indefinitely, with no account and no time limit. Orbit Pro unlocks additional features on the devices you sign in on.
Your data
Your tasks are stored on your device and belong to you. We do not claim any rights over them, and we cannot access them. Export them at any time from Settings → Data.
Licences
A Pro licence is personal and covers the browsers you sign into with the purchasing email address. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; a lifetime licence covers the current major version and every update to it.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to circumvent licensing, redistribute the extension as your own, or use it to break another service’s terms. Focus Shield blocks sites on your own device at your own request; it is not a supervision or filtering product.
Availability
The extension works offline and does not depend on our servers to manage tasks. The licence server may occasionally be unavailable; when it is, Orbit keeps working with your existing entitlement rather than locking you out.
Liability
Orbit is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live. Keep your own backups — Settings → Data exports a complete file in one click.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
